You can use the many settings on the multi-page Solid Edge Options dialog box to customize Solid Edge. You can change such things as edge display, inter-part linking behavior, assembly component behavior, mouse behavior, annotation settings, whether to use dimension style-mapping, how managed documents are opened and closed, default document location, and display colors.

1. On the Application menu, click the Solid Edge Options button, which is located at the bottom of the menu.

2. In the Solid Edge Options dialog box, click the tab containing the information you want to customize.

3. Use the controls on the different pages of the dialog box to make the appropriate changes.

   Click the Help button on the Solid Edge Options dialog box to learn about the different controls available on each page of the dialog box.
