Construct a louver in the synchronous environment
  1. Choose Home tab→Sheet Metal group→Dimple list→Louver .

  2. On the Louver QuickBar, click the Options button.

  3. Use the Louver Options dialog box to define the louver parameters and click OK.

  4. Move the louver to a model face and click to place it.

  5. Click to finish the louver.

Tip:

  • When locked to a plane in the louver placement workflow, dimensions may be placed on each occurrence dynamically. You can pause the cursor over an edge and press M to create dimensions from the center of the louver to the midpoint of the edge, press E to create dimensions from the center of the louver to the closest edge endpoint, or press C to create dimensions from the center of the circle point of a circular edge. Before the louver is placed, you can type a dimension value and the dynamic movement is locked to the defined value.

  • When you place a louver, the orientation of the louver is aligned with an edge of the underlying plate. You can use the N and B keys to step through the available orientations. If you need an orientation that is not aligned with an edge, you can place the louver, and then use the Rotate command to change the alignment of the louver.
