Placement Part
Specifies which part is to be positioned in the assembly. This button is active when adding a relationship to a part that already exists in the assembly, or when placing a subassembly. This button is inactive when placing a new part in an assembly.
Placement Part Element
Specifies which element is to be used on the part being positioned in the assembly.
Target Part
Specifies which part in the assembly the placement part is to be positioned with. You can select any part in the assembly.
Target Part Element
Specifies which part element in the assembly the placement part element is to be positioned with.
Accept Position
Orients the part in the assembly using the position you defined.
Floating Offset
Sets the offset type to floating. With a floating offset you can use another assembly relationship to define the offset value.
Fixed Offset
Sets the offset type to fixed. With a fixed offset you can type a value in the Offset Value box. You can edit this value later.
Coordinate System Plane
Specifies the plane of the coordinate system for which you want to define an offset. Select the plane for which you want to define an offset, then type the offset value you want in the Offset Value box.
Offset Value
Sets the distance the part is offset from the target part in the assembly. This option is available when you are using a fixed offset. You can type a positive or negative number.
Flip
Repositions the part to the opposite side of the face by changing the planar align relationship to a mate relationship. This option is available only when editing the position of a part.
