Paste command bar

The Paste command bar is displayed when you cut or copy a feature to Windows Clipboard, and then use the Paste command to paste the feature into the current document or another document.

Main Steps

Plane Step

Defines the plane on which the primary feature will be pasted.

Position Step

Sets the position of the primary feature's profile on the selected profile plane.

Cancel/Finish

Cancels the command or finishes the feature.

Defining a Plane

Coincident Plane

Runs the Coincident Plane command. This button is displayed on the command bar when the plane step is active.

Parallel Plane

Runs the Parallel Plane command. This button is displayed on the command bar when the plane step is active.

Angled Plane

Runs the Angled Plane command. This button is displayed on the command bar when the plane step is active.

Perpendicular Plane

Runs the Perpendicular Plane command. This button is displayed on the command bar when the plane step is active.

Plane Normal To Curve

Runs the Plane Normal To Curve command. This button is displayed on the command bar when the plane step is active.

Plane by 3 Points

Runs the Plane by 3 Points command. This button is displayed on the command bar when the plane step is active.

From

Sets the method of selecting a profile, mirror, draft, or pattern plane.

  • Plane—Allows you to select a reference plane or planar face.

  • Feature—Allows you to select a feature. The plane used for that feature is automatically selected for use with the current feature.

  • Last—Automatically selects the plane used for the last (previous) feature. Click in a window to accept the highlighted plane. This option is not available if the last feature was a pattern.
