A manufactured feature is a set of faces generated from a collection of profile(s) and parameters that require a plane on which to exist. When you construct a manufactured feature, the sketches you draw are maintained, and they are used as a means to edit the feature. This differs from sketch-based features, in which the sketches are consumed when you construct the feature.
The following table lists typical manufactured features along with the appropriate environment for each.

The following rules apply to manufactured features
All feature faces transform (move or rotate) rigidly, as a set.
No permanent dimensions or geometric relationships can be applied between the feature profile and any model face outside of the feature.
Any dimensions and relationships applied to profile elements during profile edit are maintained when closing edit profile mode.
