Choose Home tab→Select group→Select

Enter the Selection Manager mode by either of the following methods:
Press the Shift + Spacebar keys.
Choose Home tab→Select group→Select list→Selection Manager Mode command 
.
Select a face in the graphics window to display the Selection Manager menu.
On the Selection Manager menu, click the desired option.
Tip:
You can use the Selection Manager menu as many times as required to build the needed select set.
Press the Spacebar to exit the Selection Manager mode.
