Choose Home tab→Weld Beads group→Label Weld .
Click the Label Weld Options button, then on the Label Weld Options dialog box, define the weld symbol attributes you want.
Click the edges you want to label.
Tip:
When you label an edge on part, the color of the edge changes. When you label an edge on a material addition feature, such as a protrusion, the color of the entire feature changes. These color changes indicate that a weld label has been applied.
The length of the labeled edge and the cross section area you specify in the Weld Symbol Properties dialog box is used to compute the theoretical volume of the weld bead. This volume is then used when computing physical properties for the weldment.
You can use the Tie to Geometry option within the Weld Symbol command in the Draft environment to retrieve the weld label into the drawing.
