Open a multi-body file.
Choose Home tab→Solids group→Add Body list→Subtract command.
Select a target body or multiple bodies to subtract from.
On the command bar, click the Accept button (or right-click).
Select a tool body or multiple tool bodies as the body to subtract from the target. You can select a design body, a construction body, a surface , or a reference plane as the subtracting tool.
Note:
If you use a surface or a plane as the subtract tool, you use the direction handle to choose which side to subtract from.
On the command bar, click the Accept button.
On the command bar, click the Finish button.
Click the Cancel button or press the Esc key to end the Subtract command.
Open a single body file.
Choose Home tab→Solids group→Add Body list→Subtract command.
Select a target body.
On the command bar, click the Accept button (or right-click).
