The relationship is applied between two or more components and fixes them such that they are rigid with respect to each other. The relationship is created in the active assembly and can contain subassemblies.
The relationship appears in lower PathFinder for each component that it is applied to.
Rigid Set Behavior:
If the Rigid Set relationship is selected from PathFinder, all the components that are part of that relationship highlight.
To add subassemblies to a rigid set, they must be selected from PathFinder.
If the Rigid Set relationship is deleted from PathFinder, it is deleted from all components in the Rigid Set.
If a component that is a member of a rigid set deleted from the assembly, the remaining members stay in the rigid set.
A component can be a member of more than one rigid set.
Options:
Suppress. Suppressed relationships can be unsuppressed if the rigid set relationship is deleted.
Delete. Existing relationships to other set members are deleted.
Ignore. Existing relationships go into a warning state and those relationships are ignored by other commands, such as Drag Component.
