Cut or copy the element you want to paste.
Do one of the following:
To paste to the location the Solid Edge Administrator defined, choose Home tab→Clipboard group→Paste 
.
Solid Edge pastes the element to the original position or to the selected position, depending on how the Solid Edge administrator defined the Paste command. If the Solid Edge administrator gives you privileges, you can change the behavior of the Paste command. You change the behavior of the Paste command in the Solid Edge Options dialog box.
To paste to the original position, click the arrow next to Paste 
and click Paste to Original Position 
.
Solid Edge pastes the element to the original position from which you cut or copied the element.
To paste to the selected position, click the arrow next to Paste and click Paste to Selected Position 
. In the sketch, click where you want to paste the element.
Solid Edge pastes the element to the position where you clicked.
Note:
You can right-click to end the Paste command.
Tip:
The element you cut or copied remains on the Clipboard until you cut or copy another element.
You can use the Undo command to reverse the result of the Paste command.
