Select the leader that has the vertex you want to delete (A). This displays its handles. As you move the cursor over the leader, the cursor changes to show whether you are on a leader or a handle.

Position the cursor over the vertex you want to delete (B).

Hold the Alt key and click the handle on the vertex (C).
