Expands the selected assembly. When you expand an assembly, the listing of its top-level components is displayed within Assembly PathFinder. Any subassemblies within the selected assembly are not expanded. To expand an assembly and its subassemblies, use the Expand All command.

You can also use the plus (+) and minus (-) symbols in Assembly PathFinder to expand or collapse subassembly listings in Assembly PathFinder.
