Reports command
Retrieves and displays lists of the parts and subassemblies contained in an assembly. The information is collected from the file properties of the referenced part or assembly documents. For subassemblies, the information is collected from the file properties of each part in the subassembly.
To include item numbers in the assembly reports and make them available for downstream use, for example, in balloons placed on the model and in ballooned parts lists on an assembly drawing, you need to first select the Create item numbers check box in the Item Numbers page (Solid Edge Options dialog box).
Note:
When you create a report of an assembly that is in a managed library, the property information is collected from the list of properties defined in the Insight profile, not the local file properties. For more information, see the Creating assembly reports help topic.
