Flange Options
Accesses the Flange Options dialog box so you can set the flange construction options.
Measurement Point
Measures from the inside or outside of the material to the flange length.
Measurement Inside |
Measures from the inside of the material to the flange length. |
Measurement Outside |
Measures from the outside of the material to the flange length. |
Material Side
Specifies the location of material creation.
Material Inside |
Creates the flange and bend inside of the selected material thickness face. |
Material Outside |
Creates the flange outside of the selected material thickness face. |
Bend Outside |
Creates the bend and flange outside of the selected material thickness face. |
Keypoints
Sets the type of keypoint you can select to define a feature extent or to position a new reference plane. You can then define the feature extent or the location of the reference plane using a keypoint on other existing geometry. The available keypoint options are specific to the command and workflow you use.
Selects any keypoint. |
|
Selects an end point. |
|
Selects a midpoint. |
|
Selects the center point of a circle or arc. |
|
Selects a tangency point on an analytic curved face such as a cylinder, sphere, torus, or cone. |
|
Selects a silhouette point. |
|
Selects an edit point on a curve. |
|
Selects no keypoint. |
Partial Flange
Creates a partial flange along a selected face from the point at which you click (A) to a distance that is one-third (B) of the total length (C) of the selected thickness face.
The partial flange uses your first click as the starting edge (A) and is created on the long side (B) of the selected thickness face.
This option is not available if multiple thickness faces are selected.
